Every Canlock lid is equipped with a built-in airlock pump that simply twists onto and off the jar. When pumped, a pressurized seal is created preventing smells from escaping the glass container.

I like them. Always wondeeed what they were made of (plastic or glass) truly a nice product. But after uou press button to remove air it stsrts sliding up after awhile. So im mot sure how “smelll proof” they really are
